Apostille Facilitation: Helping Your Florida Documents Travel
Apostille Facilitation: Helping Your Florida Documents Travel
Sometimes an important document needs to travel farther than you do.
A marriage certificate.
An educational document.
A power of attorney.
A notarized document.
When a Florida document needs to be used in another country, you may be asked for an apostille.
An apostille is an authentication used for eligible public documents intended for use in another country. In Florida, the Secretary of State is the competent authority that issues apostilles.
So where does Magnolia Signature Services come in?
Apostille facilitation.
My role is to help make the process easier to navigate by looking at what you're trying to accomplish, helping you understand what type of document is needed, and coordinating eligible documents for submission through the appropriate authority.
Florida's Department of State has specific requirements for documents submitted for authentication. For example, an original certified copy or certificate is required for public documents, and notarized documents must contain the required notarial statement along with the original notary's signature, stamp, and seal.
That's why I don't recommend simply sending a document off and hoping it's accepted.
The document matters.
The type of certification matters.
And where the document will be used matters.
If you're preparing a Florida document for use outside the United States, Magnolia Signature Services can help you understand the next step and coordinate the apostille process.
🌎 Your document may be traveling farther than you are. Let Magnolia help it get there.
